When should I book my session?

For most shoots, we recommend calling the studio two months in advance. (If you want fall photographs, book NOW.) For maternity sessions, I typically like to shoot between the 30-34th week of your pregnancy. Newborn sessions should take place between 4-10 days old. Please call as early as possible to ensure you get your preferred date and time for your session. If your baby arrives before or after your due date, we will do our best to accommodate your family. Please call or email within 48 hours of your baby’s birth.

Newborn sessions last between 2-3 hours. We schedule such a large window of time for feeding, cuddling and comforting your little one. Family, children and maternity sessions are 60-90 minutes in length.

When do I get to see my photographs?

Galleries are typically available to view within 7-10 days of your session date. During my busiest months, September – December, it can take up to three weeks. You are free to share your gallery with friends and family while it is online. The gallery will remain online for 7 days (longer once you place your first order) and will include color and black & white photographs.

How long do I have to order prints or digital images?

You have 7 days to place your order. After that time your gallery will be taken down and there will be a $50 archival fee to place an order.

When is payment due?

Payment of orders is due in full on the day you place it. Prints and products normally arrive within 7-10 days of the order being placed. Rush shipment is available on some items for an additional charge.  All prints and products are subject to your state’s sales tax and shipping when applicable. 

Can I return a print if I don’t like it?

Due to the nature of custom photography, all sales are final.

Do you photograph weddings?

No. However, if you are having a small intimate affair with a party of 50 guests or less, please email me for pricing options.

Do you photograph babies at 3 months?

No. The best time to schedule your second shoot is when your baby is sitting up. Typically this happens around 6-7 months old.

Do you do workshops?

When is the best time to photograph outdoors?

1-2 hours before sunset.

Do you do mini sessions?

Yes! A few times each year. Become a fan of my facebook page and get added to my newsletter list to find out about them first! Repeat clients are first to know, so once you’ve booked your first one, you’ll always be the first to hear about the next mini sessions.

Do you do pre consultations?

When you book with me, you’ll also schedule your consultation to take place over the phone a few weeks before your shoot. During the consultation, we’ll go over your ideas for the shoot and create a one of a kind session for your family.

Do you sell gift certificates? Absolutely! They can be snail mailed to your home or digitally sent via email.

Do you sell digital images?

Yes. It’s our most popular item.
